The name Birouen (美老園) reflects the founders' philosophy: beauty and longevity through tea. From its headquarters in Kagoshima City's Taniyama Tea District, the company processes, wholesells, and retails green tea under the Birouen, Kagoshima Seicha, and Satsumarche labels.
